fine island views, beautiful coral reefs, vibrant turtle experiences
Attention to detail is sorely lacking!!! Upkeep of facilities, such as outdated room furnishings and poorly maintained common areas, requires immediate action!!! Dining options are limited and overpriced, leaving guests hungry for variety!!!

They gave us an upgrade room with sea view because the room we booked was already taken. They have been very nice.
The dinner was very expensive as everywhere in Australia.

The rooms were attractive and comfortable. The location was beautiful with easy access to snorkelling off the beach and pleasant rainforest walks. The pool was cold, but had pleasant seating. Good for a break of up to a couple of days.
While we had a two bedroom oceanfront unit equipped with stove, we weren't allowed to cook (it said electricity to stove was disconnected for fire safety reasons), except in the microwave. There is only one restaurant for dinner and another for breakfast and lunch. Food choices for all meals are limited and food is quite expensive for families (but the food was good).

We had an lovely stay! The stunning beach views from our suite were amazing, and the snorkeling experience was amazing. Dinner on the beach made it all special.

We loved the location, outlook of the rooms, room layout and design. Quality fittings and linen, walking trails, wild life, fish feeding, pool, food and service were great, Cinema (But should have an option for adult movies later in night, kids movies were a bit tiresome?). Thought all the staff were excellent. We had an awesome holiday and would love to go back.
No bath in room. Resort is not finished yet. Lack of resort shopping? Night life not the best. Paying for snorkle hire and paddle water skis (All Islands we have stayed at supply these) and Catamarans for guests to use. Some activities at night that are fun and easy for resorts to do are things like trivia, Salsa dancing lessons, Limbo Comp etc etc. bloody coral beach ha ha...I Know this cannot be avoided but it was bloody uncomfortable to lay on...as an Idea - how about foam matts for guests?I'm sure these could be rented to day trippers?

Beautiful snorkeling right off the beach. Dinner was overpriced and disappointing.

The staff were very helpful and the location's perfect!
Timber upper floors means people walking above you sound like the jungle drums

Relaxing quiet. Met our needs perfectly
We initially booked a standard room but on arrival found it to be dark with no daylight, small and airless. We upgraded to a room with a balcony which was delightful but expensive. It is not worth taking the cheaper option!!

It was just a fine choice for a short visit on Fitzroy Island with excellent value. The beach bar was surprisingly nice, despite the initial stress of not being allowed at the resort. Make sure to pack your own snacks and drinks for the day.

Great hotel in superb location. We had a noisy party below us and asked to be moved and although the property was fully booked they happily accommodated us.

Firstly i'd like to mention that what an amazing improvement on the resort and some very fine work has been carried out. I have been coming to Fitzroy for over 10years......I Have just flown to melbourne and realized that l was charged $325 instead of the the room price of $130 as l cancelled 1xroom on the Wednesday before but obviously l have been charged for it ....so l will be contacting the resort in the next few dayz as my partner &l are alittle upset........Apart from that the barstaff were great and we will return if this problem above can be rectified........thanks

Staff were fabulous. As was the accommodation, location and atmosphere. Loved the atmosphere at Foxy'S. Too cold to swim, so walked up to the lighthouse and Nudeys Beach. Very, very enjoyable stay. Will definitely go back again.
Not so much that 'I didn't like', but would have been nice to have some veges at dinner, both nights. Mostly salads, but I understand the resort was booked out the night before, so maybe not so much left. Other than that, meals and service were great.

Location & new resort- unfinished but good value for money. Some staffing issues are apparent, & some staff shouldnt work in hospitality.
